Tips & Tricks to help plan the perfect day
- Find out if there is a teacher in your school that has previously been to the festival to offer personal tips and read the Teacher Planning Guide
- Dress for the weather - The festival goes rain or shine. Layers, warm socks, rain coats
- Read the description of Activities to have an activity description and determine learning expectations
- Decide on the key areas you would like your students to focus on and select the activities
- Using the Festival Scheduler, organize each group's day - begin in different locations to avoid congestion
- Put leader info in water proof sleeve in case of rainy weather
- Advise group leaders if an activity is busy, move on to the next - remember each activity will take approx 15 minutes to complete
- Bring a camera
- Don't schedule a group for yourself that way you will be able to float from group to group as needed
