Committee

In 2001 the Grey Bruce Children's Water Festival was launched spearheaded by the Bruce Resource Stewardship Network, the Grey County Forest Stewardship Network and the Sydenham Conservation Foundation along with 15 other community organizations. These 18 organizations partnered together providing both in-kind and financial support to realize their mission of educating our younger generation about the wise use, conservation and protection of our precious resource ... WATER!!

In October 2003 the organization incorporated as the Grey Bruce Children's Water Education Council and now operates as the Grey Bruce Children's Water Festival.

Initiating Partners

The Sydenham Conservation Foundation was formed in 1990 by a group of local conservation minded individuals concerned with the loss of wetlands and the need to increase the awareness of the general public to conserve fish and the wildlife habitat in Grey and Bruce Counties.

The Bruce Resource Stewardship Network and the Grey County Forest Stewardship Network have a mission to foster improved private land stewardship practices. They achieve results by "influence and facilitation". Members of these networks strive to raise awareness of the need for water conservation and environmental protection.
